I’m not one to put on a full face of makeup any morning—especially when I know I won’t be leaving the house. But I will admit, a dab of cover up, foundation or anything that helps me fake a clear, even complexion has always rewarded me with a major confidence boost. Lately, that’s meant reaching for a jar of green face cream that’s one-part makeup, one-part skincare and the entirety of my makeup routine.

Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 has quite a lengthy name and its list of benefits is equally as extensive. This treatment (that truthfully feels more like a lightweight face cream or super-smooth sunscreen) helps to minimize any red spots, but it does so in both the short- and long-term. The greenish tint adjusts to match your skin tone as you blend it in (or rub it all over, whatever you prefer), neutralizing redness and giving you coverage similar to that of a tinted moisturizer. Over time, the tiger grass works to boost your skin’s ability to heal itself, reducing inflammation and the appearance of unwanted marks like acne scars. The treatment also contains SPF 30, so you can skip other sunscreen, if you so wish. Because it’s so light and smooth on your skin, the treatment also works as a great color-correcting base should you actually want to apply a layer of foundation or BB cream on top.

Basically, it helps me fake an even, blemish-free appearance over video calls, speeds up the reduction of pesky dark marks and acne spots and prevents the development of any new, unwanted blemishes—a true triple threat. It’s also just never gets old watching as the retro shade of pale pistachio magically transforms to match my skin tone.

Want to know even more about this TikTok-approved skincare product? On this week's episode of Take My Money (watch above), content creator Kate tries the Cicapair Color Correcting Treatment to see if it really gets the job done without makeup. And as someone who was given the nickname “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” as a kid, she knows what she’s talking about here. Watch to find out whether or not this viral product makes its way into Kate’s everyday skincare routine.

I, for one, plan on stocking up on more of this good stuff, as well as a few other pieces from the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair line, like the serum or gel cream.
