Yoga balls: They’re not just fun to bounce on and toss at your workout buddy. They’re actually great for getting a serious ab workout in, too. (Who knew?) Here are three moves that work your core with the help of the funnest piece of exercise equipment.

The Pass
Lie on the floor with your arms extended above your head and the yoga ball positioned between your feet. Keep your legs straight as you raise the ball to meet your arms. Pass the yoga ball from your legs to your hands, then bring it all back down to the ground. Repeat the process, passing the ball back to your legs.

The Side Leg Lift
Lie on your right side and position the yoga ball between your legs. Using your left hand for support, raise the ball as high as you can before bringing it back down. Lightly tap the floor with your foot before bouncing back up for another rep. Repeat on your left side.

The V-Up
Prop your feet on top of the ball with your back flat on the ground and your legs straight. Focus on engaging your core as you curl up to touch your toes. Repeat until you feel the burn.
