The Hamptons' Best Fitness Studios

For barre babes and boot campers alike

Veuve and lobster aren’t exactly the best combo for scoring your dream body… but we’re obviously not giving them up anytime soon. (If you haven’t been to The Seafood Shop, you’re missing out.) Get the best of both worlds by sweating it out pre- or post-caloric indulgence at one of these five East End sweatshops.

Tracy Anderson is having a banner year. In addition to enlisting a slew of new celebrity clients (cough, cough: Lena Dunham) and launching a streaming subscription service, she just opened her second studio on the East End. Located in East Hampton, the two-story 3,000-square-foot space is the only one (along with its Watermill counterpart) where you can forgo her membership option and pay per class.

Best Barre

Physique57 just debuted two new classes at its Bridgehampton studio: Physique F.I.T. (focus on arms and thighs) and Namastique (arm, thigh, seat and abs exercises intertwined with power yoga). Unlike its competitors, Physique 57 has the only barre classes with multiple levels (from intro to advanced) and a real variety of class styles.

Best Boot Camp

With a second location that opened last season and a rumored third coming in Southampton, Barry’s Bootcamp is the place to go when you need a serious butt kick. It doesn’t hurt that celebrities such as Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are staples. Stars…they’re just like us!
