A love of cruising must be part of my DNA. I grew up going on cruises with my family, and as I’ve gotten older, I’ve only continued to explore the world via ship. My 70-year-old mother, Ellen, loves cruises just as much as I do. So, when I offered her the chance to sail on Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Luna, she jumped at it.
The Luna, which only launched in 2026, is more than 1,000 feet long and can accommodate a whopping 3,565 passengers. Fortunately, it’s got plenty of space (and activities and entertainment) for all of them. As my mom put it best afterwards, “NCL never disappoints.”
Here, my mom’s honest review of NCL’s Luna, complete with her original photos from the trip.
