Antonio Nascimento/Radiant: The Cookbook

Matcha lattes who? We’re currently obsessed with these rose quartz lattes from Radiant: The Cookbook by Mafalda Pinto Leite. Yep, they have a few ingredients we’ve never heard of, but you can easily find them in a health food store (or online).

Leite explains the healing properties of this warm beverage: “Widely used in Ayurveda to calm and tame inflammation within the body and mind, roses are soothing antidotes to the physical stresses of everyday living,” she says. “Due to its cleansing properties, rose water and petals support the liver in its never-ending quest to facilitate detoxification and serve as a gentle diuretic, promoting healthy and regular elimination.”

Like rose quartz, this latte is purported to purify as well as open your heart chakra and fill it with calming, peaceful frequencies. (You know, if you believe in that stuff.)

Ingredients

Rose Quartz Latte

2 cups coconut milk

2 tablespoons fresh beet juice

1 teaspoon rose water

1 teaspoon raw cacao butter melted or ghee

1 teaspoon raw honey or sweeter of choice

¼ teaspoon raw vanilla powder

Dried rose petals, for serving (optional)

Beauty Add-Ins

½ teaspoon schisandra powder

¼ teaspoon pearl powder

Directions

1. Gently warm the coconut milk and beet juice in a saucepan over low heat without allowing it to simmer. Carefully pour into a blender.

2. Add the rose water, cacao butter, honey and vanilla powder. Blend on high until warm and frothy.

3. Pour into a mug and served sprinkled with rose petals and beauty add-ins, if desired.
