Espresso ‘n’ Bourbon Cocktail
Espresso and bourbon are a match made in heaven, and this cocktail is no exception. Use the Café Bellissimo Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine to brew a fresh cup of espresso. Once that’s cooled, combine it with bourbon, sweetened condensed milk, egg white and a pinch of salt. Garnish with coffee beans or cocoa powder and enjoy every sip.
1½ ounces (50g) espresso, cooled (see step 1)
Ice, for shaking
1 ounce bourbon
½ ounce sweetened condensed milk
1 egg white
Pinch of salt
Coffee beans and cocoa powder, to garnish (optional)
1. Using the Café Bellisimo Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine, brew the espresso. Refrigerate until cool. Place a martini glass in the freezer for about 20 minutes.
2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the cooled espresso, bourbon, sweetened condensed milk, egg white and a pinch of salt. Top with the lid and shake vigorously until the mixture is cold, about 1 minute. Pour into the chilled martini glass and garnish with coffee beans and/or cocoa powder before serving.
