4 slices sandwich bread
2 tablespoons butter, softened
4 slices aged cheddar cheese
½ cup fresh arugula
4 tomato slices
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1. Butter one side of each piece of bread. To assemble the sandwiches, spread a thin layer of Sabra Roasted Garlic Hummus on the non-buttered sides of two pieces of bread. On top of the hummus, layer the cheese, tomato, arugula and another piece of cheese, and top with the other slices of bread.
2. In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook the grilled cheeses until both sides are golden and the cheese has melted.
