Chocolate-Covered ‘Strawbearries’

Inspired by DOVE® Chocolate’s latest campaign, we’re encouraging everyone to buy their own chocolate for Valentine’s Day this year. Think about it: No waiting around for someone to present you with sweets and you’re setting a teddy bear free to follow its heart—in this case, to become a chef with a recipe for chocolate-covered “strawbearries.” Want to make them yourself? All you need are two ingredients: DOVE® Valentine’s Day Milk Chocolate Hearts and fresh strawberries.


1 quart strawberries, washed

Sprinkles or frosting for decorating, as desired


1. Unwrap the DOVE® Valentine’s Day Milk Chocolate Hearts and place them in a medium-size microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on medium power for 25 seconds. Remove the bowl from the microwave and stir the chocolate with a wooden spoon. Continue to microwave in 10-second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.

2. Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate and transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Decorate as desired. Refrigerate until the chocolate is firm, at least 30 minutes.
