Cheeseburger Sliders

Average ()

When feeding a picky crowd, Cheyenne Singh (@cheysingh) relies on this go-to recipe of stacked cheeseburger sliders seasoned with Heinz Worcestershire sauce. Get this: Instead of grilling the sliders individually, Singh shapes the meat into a thin rectangle on a baking sheet, bakes it in the oven and then cuts them to size after they’re cooked. Stack on your favorite toppings and add Heinz specialty condiments for the finishing touches.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more as needed

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, plus more as needed

1 tablespoon Heinz Worcestershire sauce, plus more as needed

4 slices cheese of choice

6 slider buns

Favorite Heinz condiments

Favorite burger toppings (such as lettuce, onion, tomato and pickles)

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. In a medium bowl, add the ground beef, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until just combined; do not overwork it.

2. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, press the meat mixture into a rectangle about ¼-inch thick. Season with salt and pepper, and drizzle with more Heinz Worcestershire sauce.

3. Transfer to the oven and bake until done, draining the grease halfway through, 18 to 20 minutes. Remove from the oven, top with the cheese and return to the oven just until the cheese is melted.

4. To assemble, top with your choice of Heinz condiments and burger toppings, such as lettuce, onion, tomato, pickles, Heinz HoneyRacha and Kranch.
