Willow Smith Just Shaved Her Head During a Live Performance & We Are Not Worthy

In case you weren't already obsessed with Willow Smith (aka Willow), she just marked her new album era with a very punk-rock move.

The 20-year-old singer was performing a rendition of her hit "Whip My Hair" during a Facebook Live concert when suddenly, a crew member brought out a chair and started shaving her head in the middle of the song.

Willow casually continued playing her guitar while chunks of her hair fell to the ground, and when the song was over, the performer merely looked up serenely as the stage went black. Check out the epic moment below.

The performance was part of a concert celebrating the release of Willow's fourth studio album, lately i feel EVERYTHING. And while she certainly caught our attention with this stunt, this isn't the first time she's shaved her head.

Back in 2012, when she was only 12 years old, the singer-songwriter removed her locks during the middle of her "Whip My Hair" tour in an act of rebellion and liberation. In an interview with InStyle, Willow said, “‘Whip your hair’ is just a symbol for doing whatever you want...it was a rebellion to people who thought it meant something different. I was just over it; I was literally so done and said, ‘I’m going to show people that I'm not attached to this.’”

Willow's new look must have had an impact on her mom, Jada Pinkett Smith, as well. Soon after the singer made her shocking performance, her mother revealed on Instagram that she had shaved her head too. “Willow made me do it because it was time to let go BUT … my 50’s are bout to be Divinely lit with this shed,” she said.
