We always knew that Jada Pinkett Smith and her daughter, Willow, are extremely similar, but we never realized how much they look alike…until now.
Jada recently took inspiration from her 20-year-old daughter by chopping off her luscious locks. The 49-year-old actress shared a stunning selfie on her personal Instagram account, featuring her brand-new shaved head. (Yes, you read that right.)
The first photo is a screenshot of Willow’s post, which shows the mother-daughter duo sporting shaved heads. Jada’s hairdo is more recent than Willow’s, who has a little more hair on top.
The picture is followed by a video of Jada, who moves her head from side to side. You know, so we can admire all angles.
Hair (or lack thereof) aside, there’s no denying the resemblance between the mother-daughter duo, including everything from their striking eyes to their effortless smiles.
Willow’s caption read, “A gift is pure when it is given from the heart to the right person at the right time and at the right place, and when we expect nothing in return.”
Jada also wrote a caption of her own, which read: “Willow made me do it because it was time to let go BUT … my 50’s are bout to be Divinely lit with this shed.”
Followers immediately filled the comments section with words of praise for their twinning haircuts. One person wrote, “Beautiful [heart emoji] It Just shows that beautiful face and soulful eyes more prominently.” Another added, “Welcome to the bald squad.” One comment read, “Absolutely stunning. I’ve been thinking about doing this for so many years… might have to jump on it too!”
