Watch Out Serena Williams, Tracee Ellis Ross Is Hopping on the Gucci Feather Trend Too

Tracee Ellis Ross and Serena Williams may have different stylists, but they both donned similar outfits at their most recent outing in Los Angeles.

Earlier this week, Ross and Williams attended the L.A. County Museum of Art gala, where they both looked chic in feathered Gucci ensembles.

Styled by Karla Welch, the 49-year-old Ross sported a pair of blue sequined slacks and a matching sequined jacket. She topped off the look with a brown feathered coat and black strappy heels. Lucky for us, the Black-ish star shared a few glamour shots of her ensemble on Instagram. “Donning @gucci for @lacma Art+Film Gala. I get to stand on stage and honor the amazing @asherald. Oh, how I love the world of art! #lacmagala,” she wrote alongside the slideshow.

The entire outfit immediately reminded us of Williams's look for the event. The tennis star opted for a black dress from designer Alessandro Michele, which featured a long velvet skirt and a spaghetti strap bodice stitched with fabric flowers. The look was rounded out with a pair of lace gloves covered in (you guessed it) feathers and a black choker with a pink rose attached.

Williams posted a slidieshow of herself alongside her hubby, Alexis Ohanian, to her Instagram, saying, “Feeling @gucci.” In the second photo, Ohanian is seen sporting a simple black tux that paired well with Williams's dress. (Two days prior, she sported another feathery, two-toned gown from the luxury Italian fashion house.)

Great minds think (and dress) alike, we suppose.
