Celebs Love Tamara Mellon Heels, So We Bet Her New Sneakers Are Beyond Comfortable
Finding comfy heels is like winning the lottery. In fact, that’s exactly why celebrities like Mandy Moore, Katie Holmes and Tracee Ellis Ross opt for Tamara Mellon heels—both on and off the red carpet. They’re comfortable, they’re chic and they’re designed by Jimmy Choo co-founder Tamara Mellon. Now, Mellon and her eponymous brand are taking stylish comfort to a whole new category: sneakers.
Introducing the new OMW sneaker: Tamara Mellon’s super luxe take on the classic Stan Smith. These leather kicks are made in the same Italian factory as Hermès’s $950 sneakers, but Mellon's version is much easier on the ol’ purse strings, at $395.
The OMW sneakers come in the white Vitello style, which is made of soft calfskin leather and features leather lining and a rubber sole. The trainers are lace-up and low-top, so they look great with everything from jeans and a T-shirt to a linen sundress.
The black suede iteration is handcrafted from soft suede and showcases the same leather lining and low-top cut.
Presumably, the sneakers are just as comfortable as the company’s heels (or perhaps even more so). But comfort isn’t the only thing Tamara Mellon focuses on. All shoes made by the brand enjoy a Tender Loving Shoe Care plan, which means that repairs are guaranteed by their Cobbler Concierge service for up to two years after purchase. Complimentary shipping and returns mean that you can order two sizes or colors and take 30 days to decide which you want to keep.
Just think of these beauts as a more grown-up version of favorite sneakers. If you’ll excuse us, we’re off to snag a pair for ourselves.
