At this point, you’d think Taylor Swift would be used to smashing records and taking home the crown, but her reaction to topping Spotify Wrapped for 2024 proves she’s just as humble (and excited) as ever.

On December 4, Spotify dropped its much-anticipated Wrapped list, revealing the Eras Tour queen herself as the top global artist for the year. Not only did Swift snag the title of most-streamed artist worldwide, but her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, also claimed the honor of the most-streamed album globally.

The "Karma" singer wasted no time sharing her gratitude. She reposted Spotify’s announcement video to her Instagram Story, adding, “Top Streamed Artist AND Album on @spotify this year?! You guys are unbelievable. What an amazing thing to find out going into our last weekend of Eras shows. THANK YOU!”

Fans, naturally, flooded the comments section after the reveal. "The Swifties really did that," one person wrote, while another chimed, "As it should be! The greatest of all time." A third added, "Miss Americana claiming her crown."

But the love didn’t stop there. In a video message shared on Spotify’s Instagram Stories, captured by an X user, Swift thanked her fans directly, calling them the true MVPs of her record-breaking year.

“I look back on this year and think about how special you guys made it for us being on the Eras Tour,” she gushed, reminiscing about traveling across continents. “It’s just been such a wild ride, and I really appreciate everything you guys have done, including listening to my music so much.”

This is Taylor’s second year in a row topping Spotify’s global charts. In 2023, she racked up over 26.1 billion streams, and this year, she outdid herself with a staggering 26.6 billion streams. To celebrate her historic achievement, Spotify even added a special badge to her artist profile.

From smashing records to sending heartfelt thank-yous, Taylor Swift continues to prove why she’s not just a pop icon—she’s a class act.
