Sophie Turner has everyone talking and this time, it’s not about her outfit. The Game of Thrones alum turned heads during a press day in New York City for her upcoming film Trust, thanks to a jaw-dropping diamond ring spotted on that finger.
While promoting the movie (set to debut on August 22), Turner appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers but it was the glittering accessory on her hand that stole the spotlight—and the engagement rumors quickly followed.
Here’s the twist: during the Late Night appearance, the ring isn’t actually on her left ring finger—it’s on her right. However, photos taken of her on the street show a ring on her left ring finger. In any case, that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating, especially since the sighting comes just weeks after she reportedly rekindled her romance with British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson.
So… is it an engagement ring or just a seriously luxe fashion moment?
UK jeweler Steven Stone offered their expert take and let’s just say, either way, the price tag is as bold as the ring itself.
“Crafted from 18 karat gold, Sophie’s new ring appears to showcase a natural Old European cut diamond, hand-set in a sleek bezel mounting,” Maxwell Stone explained. “Its design is strikingly bold and contemporary, with smooth, substantial gold edges framing the round-cut stone.”
The estimated value? A cool $7 million.
Stone believes the ring is likely a Briony Raymond original—Turner is known to favor the New York-based jeweler, celebrated for bold gold designs and eye-catching gemstones.
“While the ring leans more toward a fashion-forward statement piece than a traditional engagement style, it could serve either purpose depending on the wearer’s preference,” Stone added.
Stone also compared it to the ring Sophie received from ex-husband Joe Jonas—a 3-carat pear-cut diamond with a double pavé band, which they previously valued around $180,000.
