Sofía Vergara Just Released a New Underwear Collection for a Good Cause

Sofía Vergara is bringing sexy back…to philanthropy.

The 47-year-old Modern Family star and her EBY (Empowered By You) underwear line just partnered with influencer Amanda Cerny to benefit female entrepreneurs in India with a new “Rebel with a Cause” collection.

Each of Vergara’s EBY undies collection donates 10% of proceeds to the the Seven Bar Foundation, which empowers women with microfinancing to help bring them out of poverty. Cerny’s collection introduces three unique prints inspired by the women she met on a recent trip to India with Seven Bar.

Vergara announced the collaboration on Instagram with a powerful video featuring Cerny’s conversation with a widowed mother named Gitaben Vadher, who utilized Seven Bar to help start a business weaving silk to make saris so she could support her family and send her children, one of whom is disabled, to school.

Vergara opened up about the experience working with Cerny on the collection, writing, “I am so proud to introduce you all to EBY's Rebel With A Cause campaign, with someone just as passionate about our mission as we are, @amandacerny. Rebel With A Cause is about standing for something, taking action, and making an impact. Amanda traveled to India with the @joineby team where we are microfinancing women to allow them to start their own businesses and come out of poverty. She has designed a special @joineby box for you with 3 limited edition prints inspired by the women she met there.”

Cerny’s EBY collection is available now online and includes the full set of three for $45. The rage includes lightweight, seamless bikini-style undies in a purple print and a light pink and yellow flower print, as well as a nude moisture-wicking thong that won’t slip or roll to create panty lines.
