We spy with our little eye something….big and sparkly in Simone Biles’s Instagram post.
Last week on Instagram, the Olympic gold medalist (who just turned 27) showcased her birthday glam in two separate photos shared on her profile. In the slideshow (see below), Biles takes a moment to admire her makeup artist’s handiwork.
In the caption, Biles wrote, “Birthday glam [party emojis] Makeup artist: @shea_mua.”
The first slide shows a photo of the professional athlete staring off into the distance, giving her followers a side profile of her makeup look. While donning a gray tank and sweatpants, Biles is also rocking a silver necklace that reads “Owens,” which is her husband Jonathan Owens’s last name—FYI, they married in April 2023.
But, that’s not the first thing our eyes went to. If we’re being honest, our gaze was instantly drawn to her giant diamond engagement ring, which sits on that very special finger. According to Clean Origin, Biles’s dazzling sparkler (bought from celebrity jeweler Zo Frost) features an oval-shaped diamond set among a “delicate” diamond band. It also includes hidden halo detailing along the side and center of the diamond.
Biles and Owens officially got married on April 22, 2023, at a courthouse in Houston, Texas. A month later, the couple had a destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where they invited their closest friends and family. After the ceremony, Biles posted their wedding photos on Instagram with the caption, “Mr. & Mrs. Owens.”
