Serena Williams Reveals Prince Harry Is an Excellent Problem Solver: ‘He’s Always Solving All My Life’s Problems’

Judging by the way Serena Williams describes Prince Harry’s problem-solving skills, we should all start calling him “Mr. Fix It” from now on.

On Thursday, the tennis star spoke on a panel for BetterUp, which is an organization that provides employee coaching and mental health services in the workplace. She appeared alongside CEO Alexi Robichaux and the Duke of Sussex himself.

Harry, who currently serves as the chief impact officer, had an open discussion with Williams about work burnout, setting necessary boundaries and experiencing life setbacks.

At one point during their conversation, Williams shared that Harry always helped her with her “life problems.” Aside from their one-on-one talks, the prince even helped her find a mental health coach that she still works with.

“I know I joke a lot, but Harry is actually one of my coaches,” Williams said with a chuckle. “Whenever I see him, he’s always solving all my life’s problems, so I kind of give that to your BetterUp coach, it’s kind of helped me ― so thank you!”

Williams has been close friends with Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, for quite some time. In 2018, she attended their royal wedding ceremony with her husband, Alexis Ohanian. Last March, the tennis athlete showed her love and support for Markle following that bombshell interview the couple had with Oprah Winfrey.

On Twitter, she posted a message that read, “Meghan Markle, my selfless friend, lives her life – and leads by example – with empathy and compassion. She teaches me every day what is means to be truly noble. Her words illustrate the pain and cruelty she’s experienced.”

She ended the note by saying, “I want Meghan’s daughter, my daughter, and your daughter to live in a society that is driven by respect. Keep in your memory the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control. Against such things, there is no law.”

Truly friendship goals.
