Everything You Need to Know About the Scott Drama on ‘The Bachelorette’

*Warning: Spoilers ahead*

During last night’s episode of The Bachelorette, Hannah Brown was forced to make her first unplanned decision when she abruptly sent home Scott. So, what exactly happened?

It all starts in the middle of the episode when former Bachelor contestants Demi Burnett and Katie Morton set up outside the mansion in a surveillance van. Demi explains that she received an Instagram message from someone claiming to be a contestant’s girlfriend. After reviewing the video footage of Hannah’s suitors, she confirms that Scott is the guilty party.

So, Demi pulls Hannah aside and explains the situation, saying, “I read messages between the girlfriend and her friends of her talking about how they saw each other Monday before he came and they’re going to be together whenever this is all over, and they’re going to go on a trip together.”

When Hannah confronts Scott, he admits that he dumped someone prior to coming on the show. Scott then turns the conversation on Hannah, saying she just got out of a relationship with Colton Underwood.

“If you want to get this upset with me, that’s totally fine,” he said. “But I could also say that you just dated Colton for the last two months, the last three months. You were just madly in love with him and then all of a sudden this is like the same exact thing.”

“You are such a jerk!” Hannah yells before adding, “It’s time for you to head out.” Amen.

Although we don’t know if Demi’s claims are true, his response showed his true colors, and that’s all that matters.

The Bachelorette returns to ABC next Monday, May 20, at 8 p.m.
