Everything We Know (So Far) About Hannah Brown’s Season of ‘The Bachelorette’
Now that we’ve (sorta) cooled down from Colton Underwood’s Bachelor conclusion, it’s time to face the inevitably dramatic music: Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette premieres in seven short weeks.
We’re admittedly concerned about the upcoming season, considering the 24-year-old beauty queen could barely string a sentence together during The Bachelor finale. While we can’t say whether Brown’s season will be worth the weekly two-hour time commitment, anything is better than Arie Luyendyk Jr. (There, we said it.)
Here’s everything you need to know about season 15 of The Bachelorette.
Introducing Hannah Brown, an interior designer who was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Most people remember her as The Bachelor contestant who had beef with another girl, Caelynn, long before they came on the show.
Although Caelynn recently confirmed she’s in a “good place” with her former Miss USA roommate, we wouldn’t be surprised if their feud gets thrown into the mix. Your move, producers.
Brown’s season of The Bachelorette premieres on Monday, May 13, at 8 p.m. on ABC, so mark your calendars.
During the season finale of The Bachelor, Brown met five of her 33 contestants: Luke P., Luke S., Dustin, Cam and Conner. The Bachelorette star gave the first rose to Cam, who wooed her with his freestyle rap skills. *Adjusts bracket*
The Other Men
As for the other 27 contestants, with two Lukes and three Matts to keep track of, they didn’t make it easy. Let’s just say the cheesy pick-up lines will be aplenty.
According to spoiler god Reality Steve, Brown’s list of suitors was narrowed down to 31—not 33—just days before filming. It turns out two potential contestants—Matt Dione and Joe Romeo—are magnets for bad press, so they released them to avoid any controversy. Ouch.
OK, it’s important to point out that ABC hasn’t confirmed any official cameos. However, past seasons are known for bringing in former contestants for powwows with the star. So, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Hannah G., Tayshia, Heather or—dare we say—Caelynn.
Regardless of the outcome, we only ask that Demi be included in the bunch. This season could use some epic one-liners.
