When it comes to TV, cast shake-ups are basically inevitable. Sure, some of the OGs stick around but whether it's for behind-the-scenes reasons or for the sake of a juicy storyline, new faces are constantly being introduced (or, let’s be honest, written out). And the same goes for reality TV—especially when it comes to Netflix’s glossy real estate hit Selling Sunset.

With season nine on the horizon, the series is welcoming a brand-new addition: Sandra Vergara.

Netflix’s Tudum announced on Monday, July 14, that Sandra will be joining The Oppenheim Group, stepping into the high-stakes luxury real estate world alongside returning stars Chrishell Stause, Chelsea Lazkani, Emma Hernan, Nicole Young, Alaina Gold, Mary Fitzgerald, Amanza Smith, Bre Tiesi and, of course, brokers (and twin brothers) Jason and Brett Oppenheim.

If her name rings a bell, you’re not imagining things. Sandra Vergara is the cousin and adoptive sister of Modern Family star Sofía Vergara. But she’s not just riding on name recognition—Sandra has experience selling luxury homes and has built a name for herself as a media personality and entertainment journalist. Basically, she knows how to work a camera and close a deal.

And fans? They’re already here for it.

Sandra shared a screenshot of the Tudum article on her Instagram, captioning it, “Three new faces on Selling the OC. And just One on Selling Sunset! And that’s yours truly.” She even hinted at what to expect, adding, “And let’s just say I brought a bit more sparkle, depth, and mischief to the Strip.”

The comments section blew up with excitement—plenty of fire emojis, clapping hands and messages like “Congratulations,” “Amazing,” and “Welcome to the team.”

Netflix hasn’t revealed the official premiere date for season nine just yet but with news like this, I'm betting it’s coming sooner than later.
