Rose Leslie Gave Kit Harington a Haircut While on the Phone & It Did *Not* Go Well

If you’re still suffering from the aftermath of a bad quarantine haircut, you’re not alone. Game of Thrones alum Rose Leslie recently opened up about the time she gave her husband, Kit Harington, a trim gone awry.

During an interview with the New York Post, the Death on the Nile star, 33, revealed that her husband, also 33, requested assistance while she was on the phone with a friend. Although the situation should have immediately warranted a rain check, that’s not what happened.

“I was on FaceTime to a friend at the time. He was like, ‘Can you do the back, because I can’t see it with the mirror?’ And I was so engrossed with my girlfriend, we were having such a lovely time, and I was like, ‘Yeah yeah yeah, fine, whatever,’” she said.

Although Leslie is right-handed, she proceeded to use her left hand to cut Harington’s hair (while holding her cell phone on her dominant side).

“I took the shears in my left hand,” she continued. “And…I dug too deep. I dug too deep! It was rather hilarious, but also awful. Fortunately, he looks great with a semi-shaved head, so it was fine.”

Excluding the bad quarantine haircut, self-isolation appears to be treating the couple A-OK. Last month, Leslie confirmed that she’s expecting her first child with Harington. The actress announced the exciting news by debuting her growing baby bump in an issue of U.K.’s Make Magazine.

Leslie and Harington met on the set of GoT (she played Ygritte; he played Jon Snow) and got engaged in September 2017. One year later, the pair tied the knot in an intimate wedding in Scotland.

On the bright side, Harington’s hair will grow back. His trust in Leslie’s skills? Maybe not so much…
