If you haven’t yet experienced the Roomba, it’s basically like having your own in-home Marie Kondo, save for the expert folding tips. The self-charging vacuum works on carpet or hardwood floors and is great for picking up pet hair, debris or spills. Its dirt detectors make sure the machine focuses on high-traffic zones in your home, and its multi-surface brushes can even dust your baseboards. Because it’s so compact, it excels at targeting hard to reach places, like under your bed or couch.
In addition to cleaning your entire living area while you do more important things, the Roomba has wi-fi connectivity and works with Alexa. So, if a call comes in, you can simply pause the vacuum from another room. Or, tell Alexa to start your Roomba while you’re at the office so you can come back to a pristine home. Using the Roomba app or Alexa, you’re also able to set a cleaning schedule. Talk about set it and forget it.
