Reese Witherspoon Marks the End of Season 2 of ‘The Morning Show’ with BTS Photos: “Best Team Ever”

The second season of The Morning Show wrapped up last night with the episode “Fever,” a dramatic ending that left fans curious as to what will transpire in a possible season 3.

But while viewers weren't ready to say goodbye to the Apple TV+ series, it seems that star Reese Witherspoon was feeling sentimental too. The Little Fires Everywhere actress made a gushing post on her Instagram account, thanking fans for their dedication, as well as thanking the cast and crew for all their hard work.

In her message, Witherspoon said, “That’s a wrap!! What a GREAT season... I want to thank all of you for every tweet & comment & heartfelt response to this crazy season filled with so many twists and turns.”

She added, “We tackle a lot of big topics, and it was so nice to see the show starting so many important, meaningful conversations! I'm so proud of the whole cast & crew that worked so hard to make this show come to life. Best Team Ever @TheMorningShow!! Until next time....”

In Witherspoon's video, we see her posing with her co-stars, like Jennifer Aniston and Julianna Margulies, as well as smiling with various members of the crew.

However, it looks like the 45-year-old actress also enjoys goofing off behind the scenes of the show, which we've seen demonstrated in other posts she's made.

Back in September, Witherspoon made a joking post involving her co-star, Aniston. She posed with various billboards on set that featured Aniston's face and she said, “When shooting during a pandemic, you have to connect with your costars in different ways. Love you @jenniferaniston!”

While we're anxious to hear if there will be a third season of The Morning Show, we're almost just as excited to get more glimpses from the set.
