Reese Witherspoon Has an Amusing Solution for When Your Christmas Lights Get Tangled

Reese Witherspoon is one of our celebrity inspirations when it comes to decorating, and the Morning Show actress recently took to Instagram to offer a suggestion for when Christmas lights get tangled...but her answer is not what you might expect.

The 46-year-old star titled her new video: “Holiday Tutorial: What to Do with Tangled Lights,” and in the clip, she is seen pulling out a pile of jumbled lights as Michael Bublé's cover of “It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” plays in the background. However, Witherspoon comically decides it's not worth the trouble to detangle them.

“Fa la la la nah...” Witherspoon wrote in her caption, along with a laughing emoji and a Christmas tree emoji. As seen in the video, the Sweet Home Alabama star first pulls out a knot of lights from a box, and she looks at them with a grimace before ultimately deciding to walk away.

Fans loved the reel, like one user who wrote, “Hahaha that's me!!” Another commented, “Omg I was expecting an inspired DIY LOL this is so realistic.” One person had a funny suggestion in the comments, writing, “Buy new ones! That’s the best advise! Lol.” But also, the official Home Edit account slid into the conversation, saying, “Gifting you our light organizer this Christmas [laughing emoji]” (which you can actually get here for $17).

However, we already know that Witherspoon has her house all decorated for the holidays (even if she may have left a few strings of lights in the box).

Back in November, the Legally Blonde star posted a selfie where she smiled in front of a sparkly silver Christmas tree. In her caption, she wrote, “Too soon?”

All we know is we're gonna start saying “fa la la la nah” more often during the holiday season.
