If you’re interested in learning more about the Norwegian royal family, you’re in luck—Princess Märtha Louise is heading to the small screen.
The 49-year-old royal is currently filming a documentary, titled Märtha, which will premiere in 2021. The movie will highlight Princess Märtha Louise’s upbringing, accomplishments and her relationship with her American boyfriend, Shaman Durek (who’s a spiritual guide).
Princess Märtha Louise confirmed that Märtha will not only tell her story, but it will also debunk false rumors. “I am a public figure, and the press writes a lot about me,” she said in an interview with Norwegian outlet TV2, according to JustJared.com. “It has been important to me that this is not a TV project that hunts for sensations. I can open up in front of the camera, but I am also concerned with honesty and that you do not contribute to speculation about me and my life.”
The documentary will also shine light on the princess’s life after the suicide of her ex-husband, Ari Behn. The couple shared three daughters: Maud (17), Leah (15) and Emma (12). “The most important thing I do is to be present for my daughters,” she added. “We are a family in grief, and in addition, we have become very isolated, like most others in Norway.”
