This week, Princess Eugenie, 33, is celebrating five years of marriage with her husband, Jack Brooksbank, 37, with a video compiled of footage taken on their wedding day. As an added bonus, the proud mom treated admirers to a new heartwarming portrait of her royal family of four at the end of the video.
On Thursday, October 12, the royal princess shared the wedding reel on her Instagram account, which shows the moment she and her hubby exchanged their vows on the same day five years earlier.
Set to the tune of “You’ve Got the Love” by Florence and the Machine, the clip begins with a countdown to their special day, where the couple proclaims their love to each other in front of family and friends at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
The wedding montage is filled with memorable moments from that day, from Eugenie walking down the aisle to the pair holding hands and leaving the chapel.
Before the video ends, we’re transported back to the present. Then, we see a never-before-seen portrait of Eugenie, Brooksbank, their son August, 2, and newborn baby, Ernest, flash across the screen. The caption read, “5 years ago today..,” alongside two red heart emojis.
Eugenie and Brooksbank welcomed their second baby boy back in May. The princess shared the news on her Instagram page, where she posted a photo of Ernest sleeping. “Jack and I wanted to share the news that we had our little boy, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank on 30th May 2023 at 8.49 weighing 7.1lbs.,” the royal wrote in the caption.
She went on to share what inspired her to choose the baby’s name, writing, “He is named after his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George and my Grandpa Ronald. Augie is loving being a big brother already.”
