Royal Fans Think Princess Eugenie Is Going to Give Her Baby One of These Three Names

When it comes to guessing the names of royal babies, the U.K. does not mess around. In fact, there are already three names in the running for Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s unborn child—at least among royal fans.

According to BetVictor, the name Alice is the top prediction for a baby girl, while Arthur and Henry are currently tied in the lead if it's a boy. Why these three in particular? Well, each has a special significance to the Princess of York and her husband. Alice was the name of Prince Philip's mother (AKA her great-grandmother). And both Arthur and Henry are popular within the royal family as well. First, Henry is Prince Harry’s real name and Arthur is the shared middle name of Prince William, Prince Charles and Prince Louis.

ICYMI: The royal couple announced they were officially expecting their first child together in an adorable Instagram post back in September. The 30-year-old princess captioned a slideshow, “Jack and I are so excited for early 2021....[baby emoji].”

Buckingham Palace also released a statement on the happy news. They stated, “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021. The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news.”

And while we still have no info on gender or a name,  Queen Máxima of the Netherlands may have hinted at the baby’s gender in the comments section of the announcement, writing, "Congratulations [blue heart emoji]." Blue heart? Maybe she knows something we don’t

It’s important to note that neither Eugenie nor her husband has made any comments since breaking the big news and any information about a possible name is pure speculation.

No matter what, we’re sure we will love it.
