Baby’s First Steps! Princess Eugenie Documents Son August’s Major Milestone

Princess Eugenie’s son, August, recently hit a major milestone, and (much to our delight) evidence of the accomplishment was captured on camera.

This week, the 32-year-old royal shared a series of photos on her personal Instagram account, documenting what several news outlets including The Mirror are calling August’s first solo steps. (Whether they are his literal first steps or not, still pretty impressive.) Princess Eugenie kicked things off by posting a snapshot on social media featuring August standing in a field of yellow flowers.

The caption read, “Happy Easter.”

She followed up with another photo of August, but this time, it also featured Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank.

The pic shows August walking toward his mom, who has her arms stretched out to greet him. Brooksbank is standing behind the child, having just released August before he took the steps.

In the pics, Princess Eugenie is wearing a gray sweatsuit, complete with rainbow details on the front of the sweatshirt and the side of her pants. August is sporting an equally casual outfit, featuring a blue pullover, pants and sneakers.

Earlier this year, Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank celebrated August’s first birthday by sharing a slideshow of pics on Instagram. The royal wrote a heartfelt caption that revealed her son’s sweet nickname: Augie. “Happy 1st Birthday to our little hero Augie,” it read. “You are such a special soul that brightens every room with your smile and wave. You have made us so very proud. We love you!”

Welp, they grow up so fast.
