Kensington Palace Releases New Photos of Princess Charlotte (Taken by Kate Middleton) in Honor of Her Birthday

Be still our Lottie-loving hearts.

In honor of Princess Charlotte's fourth birthday today, May 2, Kensington Palace released three new photos of the littlest princess...and yes, yes, she's as cute as a button. But OMG—she's also gotten SO big, you guys! It's like we blinked after the Cambridge Christmas card and now she's a little royal lady in her own right.

Kate Middleton showed off her photography skills yet again and took the photos in April at the Cambridges' Norfolk home of Anmer Hall, according to the palace.

And we have a feeling we know what day the photos were taken...

We last saw the Cambridges out and about in mid-April when they all went to the Burnham International Horse Trials in Norfolk. And just us, or is this the exact same outfit Charlotte is wearing in those photos, as well?

We have to admit: At 4 years old, Charlotte has mastered the closed-mouth smize better than we ever will.

(And is it weird to be jealous of how photogenic a 4-year-old is? Asking for a friend...)
