Yesterday, the Prince of Wales participated in a short question-and-answer session on the official Instagram page he shares with his wife, Kate Middleton, 41. In one video shared to their IG Story, the prince (looking quite dapper in a suit and tie) was asked where the next Earthshot Prize Awards will take place. The annual ceremony, which awards money to five recipients for their efforts to combat climate change, took place in Singapore this year.
Prince William Says He’s Been Keeping a ‘Trade Secret’ He Can’t Share with the Public
In response, the royal dad of three kept details to a minimum, playing coy. But William did share that the location for next year’s Earthshot Prize has already been chosen. “Where will you go for Earthshot next year? I think that’s a trade secret,” the Prince of Wales said in the now-expired video.
He continued, “I’m not sure I’m allowed to tell you where I’m going next year…but we already know and we actually know two years in advance where we’re going. But I’m not sure I’m allowed to reveal.” Well now we definitely want to know.
Earlier this week, the prince made a special appearance at the 2023 Earthshot Prize Awards in Singapore, where he was joined by big Hollywood names like Hannah Waddingham, Sterling K. Brown, Cate Blanchett, Lana Condor, Robert Irwin, Donnie Yen and more.
After the awards show ended, William posed with this year’s winners and the photo was later shared on the Earthshot Prize IG account (as well as the Prince and Princess of Wales’s profile). The caption read, “The Earthshot Prize 2023 WINNERS!!! @accionandina, @s4s.technologies GRST, Boomitra, @wildaid, Marine Program.”
Now let’s just hope the prince doesn't plan on keeping this a secret for too long.
