Prince William Says Prince Louis Keeps Accidentally Ending the Family Video Chats: ‘He Always Wants to Press the Red Button’

When it comes to family video chats, one (particularly tiny) member of Kate Middleton and Prince William’s family is making things “a bit hectic.”

On Friday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sat down for a rare remote interview with the BBC and opened up about how they are communicating virtually with their parents and grandparents while self-isolating at their country home in Norfolk.

“We’ve been talking to all the family online. And it’s been a really good way of keeping in touch and seeing each other,” said William. And according to the father of three, Prince Louis is always trying to end the video calls. “For some reason, he sees the red button and he always wants to press the red button.” LOL.

However, Prince William revealed that when technology is involved, it's usually the younger members of the family who know best.

“As you can imagine, the younger generation are a little bit more tech-savvy, but only just,” he continued. “I think we’re getting there now. The family is getting a little bit more used to be able to contact each other and pressing the right buttons and not dropping the computer halfway through.”

“It’s so true,” Middleton agreed. “And I think your father and my parents and our families have really loved keeping in touch with the children because it’s really hard. It gets a bit hectic, I am not going to lie, with a two-year-old.”
