They like to rock out

Sounds like Prince George, 10, and Prince Louis, 5, would've nabbed tickets to Woodstock if given the chance.

This past week, Prince William, 41, ventured to Singapore for the 2023 Earthshot Prize Awards, where he honored innovators working to find solutions to help our planet. While this was the third-annual Earthshot ceremony, it was more expansive than ever before, with a week full of celebrity guests and performances, including an appearance from the band OneRepublic. While chatting with the band, Prince William revealed that his two sons are big fans of rock music.

“Louis, my youngest, loves your songs,” the prince told OneRepublic (according to Express). He also thanked the group for playing, saying, “I can’t thank you enough. You were amazing. What a way to start the show. That was incredible.”

It was during this chat that Prince William revealed that his eldest prefers the classics. According to Express, the royal revealed that Prince George’s favorite band is AC/DC (which we did not see coming). Prince William did not discuss Princess Charlotte’s favorite artists, but maybe it's because she's not into rock.

In the past, the Prince of Wales has discussed his children’s love for music. While visiting the Apple Fitness+ podcast Time to Walk, he said his children inherited the “family's love for music” and that many mornings are spent with George and Charlotte fighting over what song to play. At the time, he noted that “Waka Waka” by Shakira was a favorite of the family’s.

Keep these family facts coming, Will.
