Here’s How Prince Harry Will (Probably) Celebrate His 36th Birthday

Need a reason to celebrate? Look no further than Prince Harry, who is preparing to ring in his 36th birthday on September 15. So, how will the royal spend his big day?

Unfortunately, the Duke of Sussex’s options are fairly limited due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, we expect the festivities to take place at the new Santa Barbara home he shares with his wife, Meghan Markle. The couple purchased the residence, which is located in the wealthy neighborhood of Montecito, for a cool $14.65 million.

We wouldn’t be surprised if Prince Harry keeps any potential guest list fairly small due to social distancing restrictions. Attendees will likely include his son (Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor), his wife and Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland, since she reportedly lives in their guest house. 

As for the itinerary, Prince Harry might spend some time in his new backyard, which features a full-size tennis court and a large swimming pool. (NBD.) We also expect him to arrange a Zoom call, so he can connect with friends and family at a safe distance.

Markle and Archie will likely join in on the virtual chat, since the royal toddler has reportedly mastered the art of video calls. According to Omid Scobie, co-author of the biography Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family,  Archie has already attempted to crash a handful of his parents’ Zoom conferences.

“I loved discovering their daily Zoom calls with the various initiatives and people that they work with,” Scobie said during a recent episode of his podcast, The Heir Pod, “and how Archie is no stranger to climbing in front of the web camera and making little impromptu cameos.”
