When Pink decided to ask Eminem to collaborate on a track for her new album, Beautiful Trauma, she looked to her friend wine for a little liquid courage first.
The “What About Us” singer revealed she was working on a rap (“Revenge”) with producer Max Martin while drinking oodles of wine when she decided to reach out to Eminem to see if he’d be interested in collaborating.
Pink said of her drunken email extravaganza, “I emailed [Eminem]. This is why they call it liquid courage. And I said, ‘You know I love you. I like that you work with a lot of the same people, like Rihanna. She’s hotter than me, but I’m funnier. So I’m going for a rap Grammy, and I’d like to take you along with me.’”
Eminem’s response was simply, “OK.” Talk about anticlimactic.
Four days later, the “Love the Way You Lie” collaborator sent Pink his rap portion of “Revenge,” which she says is “the best thing [she’s] ever heard.”
Pink and Eminem? Wine not?
