Bachelor Peter Weber Says ‘I Still Have to Work’ When Asked Why He Isn’t Remaining Quarantined with Kelley Flanagan

Bachelor Nation's Peter Weber is clarifying his current quarantine situation, including why he recently left Chicago and Kelley Flanagan.

ICYMI: Weber and his former flame made headlines last month when they were spotted doing the opposite of social distancing in Chicago. The 28-year-old pilot and the 27-year-old tax attorney were seen walking and majorly flirting along the Windy City’s Riverline, despite stay-at-home orders. Shortly after, they confirmed that they were—wait for it—shacking up.

However, footage posted on Peter’s Instagram Story over the weekend seemed to reveal that the former Bachelor had left Chicago and was no longer quarantining with Flanagan. On Sunday, the pilot shared two posts including a video from the window of a plane (which is no longer available) and a clip of a very empty terminal at an airport.

During a Q&A on Instagram Monday, Weber revealed he is in fact still staying with Flanagan and was traveling for work (see screenshot below).

“Why are you not listening to the doctors and are hanging out with people and flying?” one person asked the pilot. “Air service is considered an essential service so I still have to work. I’m quarantined with [Kelley Flanagan] and [Dustin Kendrick] in Chi-town [Chicago] when I’m not working,” Peter responded. Makes sense.

The 28-year-old also revealed that he was headed to “the home of the Cubbies,” which we can assume means he’s on his way back to quarantine with his pals.

Looks like he’s just doing his job.
