Anyone who’s ever had a pet knows they’re more than just animals—they’re family. So saying goodbye? Not easy. Paris Hilton recently shared that emotional moment with fans before she reunited her foster pup, Zuzu, with her original family.

Taking to social media, Hilton, 43, posted a heartfelt tribute to Zuzu, along with a video of herself holding the pup and wiping away tears. Her kids, Phoenix, 2, and London, 1, also made sweet appearances in the clip.

"Saying goodbye to Zuzu was so hard. She brought so much love, happiness, and comfort into our home, and it feels like a little piece of our hearts left with her. Phoenix and London gave her the sweetest goodbye hugs, and seeing how much they’ve grown to love and care for her makes me so proud," she wrote.

Hilton continued, "Knowing Zuzu is reuniting with her family, who loves her so much, is the happiest ending we could ask for. My heart truly goes out to her family as they continue to rebuild their lives after the devastating fires. Sending them all the love and strength in the world as they move forward."

She also gave a special shoutout to the Pasadena Humane Society for their "incredible work," calling them "real-life heroes."

Before signing off, Hilton shared a personal message for Zuzu: "Fostering Zuzu has been such a meaningful experience, and she’s reminded us how much love and resilience animals bring into our lives. Zuzu, you’ll always have a special place in our hearts. We love and will miss you so much but are so happy you’re back where you belong."

Hilton also posted a touching video of Zuzu reuniting with her owners, capturing the emotional moment as the pup’s mother and son excitedly greeted her. As Hilton told them, "She’s such a little angel," it was clear Zuzu was right where she was meant to be.
