Miley Cyrus is officially back in her “Can’t Be Tamed” era and we’re so here for it.

Yesterday on Instagram, the “Flowers” singer, 30, debuted her new brunette hairstyle. In the photo slideshow, Cyrus instantly transports us back to 2010 with her dark brown locks, posing in a black coat with a red designer bag in hand.

(FYI: The last time Cyrus rocked dark brunette hair was during her “Can’t Be Tamed” album release, which happened before the singer transitioned to her iconic pixie cut.)

In the caption, Cyrus took a moment to celebrate Sabato De Sarno’s new role at Gucci. “@sabatods Congratulations on your beautiful debut show as creative director @Gucci,” she wrote in the caption. “Your stunning heart was shown in every stitch. I love you & am so proud. Now give me everything”

Her supporters freaked out over the sudden hair change in the comments section of the post. One fan wrote, “MILEY BEING BRUNETTE AGAIN!!!!” Meanwhile, another commenter said, “Welcome to the dark side again sis,” hinting at her dark persona in the music video, “Can’t Be Tamed.”

From rocking platinum blonde locks to honey brown hair, Cyrus has undergone a number of hair transformations throughout her career. Since stepping away from the role of Hannah Montana, the singer has been open about wanting to change her hair to shed her Disney image.

Back in December 2020, Cyrus made an appearence on The Howard Stern Show and shared that the obsession to change her hair began in her younger years.

“The public really makes my hair, I guess, the kind of monitor of how I am doing, and it’s really not their fault that they associate my hair and my identity and my wellbeing so closely because I basically, we drilled that into their brains for eight years of [Hannah Montana],” she revealed on the talk show.

This color looks so good on you, Miley.
