On the day of the Super Bowl, Mickey Guyton had a surprise encounter with a certain royal and decided to document the event. And when she shared the snapshot on social media, her fans were quite impressed.
The Grammy-nominated country singer met the Duke of Sussex himself on Sunday, as if singing the national anthem weren't already enough pressure. Guyton is the second country singer (ever) to perform the national anthem at the event, might we add.
In the IG post, Guyton is shown standing side-by-side with Prince Harry, rocking a red and white jumpsuit. In contrast, Harry is in a navy blue blazer, denim jeans and a white shirt.
They took the photo while standing next to a buffet display. Along with the snapshot, Guyton wrote the caption, “I met Prince Harry. He was just lovely. I even curtsied in my track suit.”
Her followers were quite shocked the singer met Prince Harry at the Super Bowl. “Okay THIS is a flex,” one fan wrote in the comments section. Another fan was in utter disbelief, writing, “What??? What????” with a head-exploding emoji.
Prince Harry attended the Super Bowl with his cousin Princess Eugenie, with whom he has a close relationship. They sat next to each other at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and were joined in the stands by other celebrities, including Olivia Rodrigo, Doja Cat, Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
