Meghan Markle Returns to the Public Spotlight in Black Trousers and Princess Diana's Jewelry for Her Workwear Collection Launch

The duchess is back, y'all.

Meghan Markle made a grand return to the official royal events circuit in black trousers, a white button-down and two pieces of Princess Diana's jewelry to launch her workwear collection for Smart Works, a charity that helps women re-enter the workforce and for which Markle is a patron.

For the event on the roof terrace at the John Lewis & Partners department store in London, Markle wore a blouse and trousers from the new workwear collection (by Meg's pal and fashion designer Misha Nonoo and Jigsaw), a Ralph Lauren tan belt, Manolo Blahnik Camel Pointed Pumps and the late Princess Diana's butterfly earrings and bracelet. She's worn both of Diana's pieces before: the earrings during her and Prince Harry's royal tour of Oceania, and the bracelet during a night out to the Royal Albert Hall.

Markle gave a speech (the above video was captured and shared by The Daily Mail's Rebecca English) at the event about the Smart Works collection, which was created in partnership with Nonoo, Jigsaw, Marks & Spencer and John Lewis.

This marks the duchess's grand return from maternity leave after giving birth to baby Archie in May, though we've seen her a few times since, most recently at the U.S. Open in NYC to cheer on Serena Williams.

And what a stylish return it is. (Though we expected nothing less, of course.)
