In the clip, you see Meghan—wearing one of her signature button-down shirts—carefully cutting into a pineapple. That’s when she reveals a super-smart tip for quickly consuming the typically cumbersome fruit: “You know a trick a lot of people do with pineapple, instead of just cutting it?” she offers as she slices along the diagonal lines of the pineapple. “To make the perfect little bite, you follow the wedge.”
The Duchess of Sussex continues on while demonstrating the hack to pal and wellness therapist, Randi Karin: “When nature has given you all the cues on how to have a perfect taste of something...” she says, trailing off as she pops a piece of the perfectly cut fruit into her mouth. Karin, a guest on Meghan’s show, then tries the trick herself to great success.
The hack is clever and pretty damn portable, too. Can’t you just picture popping out a pineapple and slicing wedges for friends while picnicking this summer? We can.
