Meghan Markle’s Outfit and Jewelry Choices for ‘Good Morning America’ Interview Hold Very Special Meaning

ICYMI: Meghan Markle was recently spotted on the small screen for the first time since stepping down as a senior member of the royal family. And for the occasion, she rocked some very special pieces of clothing.

The Duchess of Sussex appeared on Good Morning America on Monday in a prerecorded interview promoting her latest Disneynature documentary, Elephant. And while we were originally focused on the fact that the interview was filmed before the duchess and Prince Harry announced their plans for a non-royal life (according to GMA, the interview was taped last summer), it's her shirt that has our attention now.

For the occasion, Markle opted for a white button-down blouse that seemed to be from the capsule collection she created in support of her royal patronage Smart Works, which provides outfits and job interview training for women re-entering the workforce.

The duchess launched her five-piece workwear collection in September in partnership with Jigsaw, Marks and Spencer, friend and designer Misha Nonoo and John Lewis.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the 38-year-old sport the design. Markle also chose the white blouse for the launch of the Smart Set collection, where she gave her first speech post-maternity-leave.

However, the chic top wasn’t the only item that holds special meaning. For the GMA interview, Markle also wore a pair of gold zodiac necklaces from Canadian brand Suetables, paying a tribute to both Prince Harry (with a Virgo pendant) and Baby Archie (with a Taurus pendant).

Meghan does not mess around when it comes to choosing her outfits.
