Mark Consuelos Posts Instagram Tribute for Son’s Birthday (& Reveals His Cute Nickname)

Yesterday, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos celebrated the birthday of their youngest son, Joaquin Antonio. While the Live with Kelly and Ryan host made a celebration post of her own, Mark took to social media to make a touching birthday tribute as well.

To commemorate his son’s 19th birthday, the Riverdale alum posted a close-up selfie of Joaquin wearing a straw, brimmed hat and a white shirt (with red bold text on the front).

In the caption of the post, some may have noticed that Mark didn’t call his son by his first name. Instead, he referred to him by his nickname. “Happy 19th bday Quino. We love you buddy!!” he wrote.

But, the birthday tribute didn’t stop there. After sharing the post to his timeline, he headed to his IG Story to post more throwback videos and pics. For instance, he shared a video of a young Joaquin competing against an opponent in a wrestling match. Even then, he referred to his son as Quino.

And that’s not all. Mark proceeded to post numerous pictures of the family. In one photo, Joaquin is sitting beside Ripa and their eldest son, Michael Consuelos, at a dining table. Another one shows an even younger Joaquin hugging his big sister, Lola Consuelos.

In another throwback video, Mark is shown wrestling with his youngest son, who is wearing a green, red and yellow face mask. And in a matter of seconds, he pins his father down, emerging victorious. The proud dad ended the montage by posting a final happy birthday banner with the nickname QUINO written in bold, blue text.

Loving the throwbacks, Mark!
