Madison Had ‘Proverbs’ Written on Her Hand During ‘Bachelor’ Finale

*Warning: Spoilers ahead*

During part one of The Bachelor finale, Peter Weber introduced his final two contestants—Hannah Ann and Madison—to his family. While it’s easy to get distracted by Madison’s eerily long eyelashes, we couldn’t help but notice that she had something written on her left hand.

The scene takes place in the beginning of the episode, when the couple sits down to talk before heading inside to see the family. (Madison already met his parents during their first one-on-one date.)

It’s difficult to spot, since it’s shown only when they hold hands or when Madison adjusts her hair on occasion. But if you pause the clip, you’ll notice she has “Proverbs” written between her thumb and index finger. It’s very possible that there are numbers indicating a particular bible verse, though it’s hard to tell from the angle.

We’re not surprised that Madison is making a statement, since she previously gave Weber an ultimatum after revealing that she’s saving herself for marriage. Although he couldn’t keep his end of the deal, Madison tried to make it work—that is, until she self-eliminated in last night’s Bachelor finale.

The good news is Chris Harrison already confirmed that Madison will appear in tonight’s two-hour conclusion. While we don’t know if she’s returning to win Weber back or tell him off, we’ll be on the lookout for another handwritten message.

Part two of The Bachelor finale airs tonight, March 10, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
