King Charles and Queen Camilla recently marked their milestone 20th wedding anniversary with a trip to Italy, and royal enthusiasts got several glimpses of their time abroad, from their visit to the famous Colosseum to their meet-and-greet with the Pope. Now, the royal couple is sharing a fun recap of their biggest highlights from the tour, including standout footage of both the monarch and the queen.

On Instagram, Buckingham Palace released a montage of videos from their trip, complete with heartwarming clips of their interactions with supporters and a striking mosaic of the royal couple. In Italian, they captioned the post, "Goodbye and thank you very much, Italy! It was a very special week, where we lived the best of Italy. Thank you for your warm friendship and hospitality."

The recap started off with a clip of the king and queen posing together in front of the Colosseum, where they're seen standing in very close proximity and even smiling at each other.

From their relaxed postures to their genuine smiles, their body language spoke volumes about their fondness for each other—but this isn't the only moment that caught my eye. In another short clip, Queen Camilla pulls a Kate Middleton parenting move while chatting with one of the students at the Alessandro Manzoni Comprehensive Institute.

As seen in the palace's previous post, the queen bends to meet the eye level of young schoolchildren as they converse. The common parenting gesture allows adults to create an equal playing field and establish eye contact, which creates a more comfortable environment for the kids.

I also took notice of King Charles's enthusiasm when he attended the UK-Emilia Romagna Food Festival at Piazza del Popolo.

For instance, in the recap and in a previous post, King Charles smiles and laughs as he talks to one of the staff members, who's seen serving samples of a dish on a tray.

In yet another standout moment, the recap offered a close-up of the striking mosaic illustration of King Charles's coronation, which was on display in the Basilica grounds in Ravenna.

In the illustration, the king and queen are decked out in full royal regalia as they stand beside each other and face the sun.

In the comments section of the recap post, one fan wrote, "They looked so happy the whole tour, no wonder, as Italy is so beautiful." Another observed, "One of the most joyful and fun Royal tours ever: they look relaxed and very happy without all the stiffness of other tours."

Always a joy to see the king and queen in such high spirits.
