King Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles Change Their Profile Pictures Ahead of Coronation

Royal admirers around the world have been counting down to the moment they finally get to see King Charles, 74, crowned as the King of England. One month before the coronation ceremony, the royal family released a brand-new portrait of the monarch with his wife, Camilla Parker Bowles, 75. And now, it appears that the couple’s social media pages just got a makeover as well.

People who regularly check the royal family’s social media pages for the latest news and updates might have noticed a slight change: the profile pictures have been updated. The image has been changed to King Charles and Bowles’s new couple portrait, which was unveiled earlier this week.

In the photo (taken by photographer Hugo Burnand), His Majesty dons a navy blue suit with a white collared shirt and a blue tie. Bowles stuns in an ocean-blue dress with a stunning pearl necklace and matching earrings. The newly-released photo was taken in the Blue Drawing Room at Buckingham Palace back in March.

In the caption of the post, the royal family revealed new details about the coronation weekend, including the *very* important role the king’s grandson, Prince George, will have in the celebration.

The royal family shared that eight Pages of Honor will appear at the celebratory event, and the 9-year-old prince will take on a role as one of the pages. As stated in the IG post, “The Pages will form part of the procession through the Nave of Westminster Abbey.”

At the ceremony, the young prince will also be accompanied by other pages, including Bowles’s three grandsons: Master Gus, Master Louis Lopes and Master Freddy Parker Bowles.
