You Need to Watch Kesha's Triumphant Performance of ‘Praying' at the Grammys

The #MeToo movement was in full force at the 2018 Grammy Awards when Kesha took to the stage to perform her hit, “Praying” (nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance). The powerful ballad was written about the songstress’s own #MeToo story: a long, ugly legal battle with her former producer, Dr. Luke, whom she accused of sexual assault in 2014.

Kesha fought her way through the lyrics on the brink of tears, but she wasn’t alone—Cyndi Lauper, Camila Cabello, Andra Day, Bebe Rexha, Julia Michaels and the Resistance Revival Chorus joined her. In what might have been the most powerful moment of the evening, the ladies came together to embrace at the song’s closing. See for yourself (and um, maybe grab some tissues).
