Kerry Washington just proved that red is definitely her color.
On Tuesday, the Little Fires Everywhere actress shared a series of photos of herself on her personal Instagram account. The images, which appeared to be taken in her backyard, were shot ahead of a press day for the nail polish brand, OPI. “All RED everything,” she captioned the post alongside a variety of red emojis. “#OPIPressDay.”
In the pics, the 44-year-old actress sported a red, midi dress from Roland Mouret with a pair of matching heels from Stuart Weitzman. She topped off her look with her naturally curly locks. The collection of snaps showed Washington modeling the pieces—along with her playful manicure—in three separate images, two standing and one sitting.
And we weren’t the only ones loving this look. The IG post raked in over 46 thousand likes and 500 comments. One follower wrote, “Absolutely red is your color, Great actress, great style,” while another added, “I'm absolutely loving the look, Kerry.” One fan practically read our mind, writing, “Come on Lady in Red!!”
Washington is no stranger to posting glam shots on social media (she also fills our feed with throwbacks, sweet family snaps and, of course, selfies). Back in April, the Scandal star showed off a flowery, citrus-colored outfit on her account, even quoting The Devil Wears Prada along the way. While Washington posed among some bright pink flowers, she said, "Floral’s? For Spring. Groundbreaking.”
