Kerry Washington has us convinced that she hasn't aged at all in the last two decades.
While promoting her new Netflix film, The Prom, the actress shared a throwback photo of herself as a student at George Washington University on Instagram, and the pic honestly looks like it could've been taken yesterday. She wrote, "Theatre Kid throwback. This is me backstage at Lisner Auditorium, freshman year at GWU."
The 43-year-old actress continued, "If I were to tell this girl that she’d be in a Broadway musical coming to Netflix this week….she would probably first ask what in the world Netflix is...And then she would have freaked out! SOOOOOO crazy excited and grateful to @mrrpmurphy and to this entire cast and crew. @promnetflix coming FRIDAY!"
In the snap, Kerry sports a colorful floral top with denim as she smiles directly at the camera. Naturally, fans were quick to point out in the comments that she doesn't age. One fan said, "Omg you look exactly the same !! Haven't aged one bit." Another fan agreed, saying, "You're amazing and you do not age! [heart emoji]."
Kerry's new movie, The Prom, which premieres on Dec. 11, follows a teenager named Emma, who gets banned from bringing her girlfriend the school dance. It also features a stellar cast, including Meryl Streep, James Corden, Nicole Kidman, Ariana Grande, Awkwafina, Keegan-Michael Key and Andrew Rannells.
