Are Katy Perry and Taylor Swift Friends Again? Here's Some Evidence

Whoever said a plate of cookies couldn't solve all the world's problems was seriously mistaken (well, at least, all your celebrity feud problems).

That's exactly what Katy Perry did when she put to rest the long-circulating rumors of a Taylor Swift feud.

On Tuesday, Perry posted a photo to Instagram of a plate of cookies with the words "peace at last" between two peace signs written in red frosting.

Her caption read, "feels good," with an orange heart emoji, and tagged Swift. We can only assume renowned baker Swift whipped up the homemade-looking (sorry) cookies for her former frenemy, because she commented a baker's dozen worth of hearts on Perry's Insta.

It all started back in 2014 when the two singers, who both dated John Mayer, reportedly became frenemies after a dispute when, allegedly, a few backup dancers on tour with Swift wanted to leave midway through to join Perry's tour, which had just started.

After some passive aggressive Tweeting, a few eyebrow-raising songs ("Bad Blood" from Swift was met with "Swish, Swish" from Perry, reportedly as retaliation), Perry extended a literal olive branch in May of last year.

Last year, Swift posted a video on her Instagram Story featuring a package she received from her former frenemy. The gift included a literal olive branch, an envelope sealed with a puppy sticker (natch) and a sweet note saying, “Hey old friend– I’ve been doing some thinking on past miscommunications and feelings between us and wanted to clear the air.”

It's about damn time, since it's been five years since this celeb feud began. Now, Swift's supposedly working on a new album, and Perry's engaged to Orlando Bloom.

Now, with the latest peace offering, it seems the bad blood is put to rest, and all that's left is mad love.

Oh, and cookies. Don't forget the cookies.
